Before Ryo (Furukawa Yuki)’s girlfriend Yuri (Fujii Takemi) went missing, she tells him that a woman who looks identical to her is in Hokkaido. Ryo travels to Hokkaido in search for this young woman, and to fulfill Yuri’s last wish to see the infamous shifting sea ice of Shiretoko. Ryo meets his lover’s doppelganger Aya, but finds our that her missing lover Ryu, a renowned magician and escape artist, also mysteriously resembles himself. Aya and Yuri, Ryu and Ryo, fate pulls two pairs of lovers together, striking across the parallel dimensions of two worlds. The story tells that we have not one but two doppelgangers, and when any of the three meets one of the others, one of them must disappear.
