Synopsis
It all begins when Mi (Sammi Cheng) makes a wish upon a fallen star – to marry a rich man.
A meteor strikes across the sky not far from where she is. She follows the trail leading towards the supposed landing and finds nothing but a book in sight. “Glass Slipper,” it says on the cover. Citing the classic fairytale of Cinderella in the introduction, Mi is soon captivated by the entail, which is a practical manual to realize a fantasy.
Mi begins to emulate the illustrative instructions – improving on her voice, manners, gestures, body language, and etiquette. Mi is walking into the beginning of a classic romantic comedy. Embarked on her adventure to seek a wealthy mate, Mi enrolls herself into the cash-rich first class cabin onboard a Europe-bound jet. As expected, she runs into a ravishing Dan (Richie Jen). Just when Mi is mesmerized in her fairytale-like romance, Dan disappears into the oblivion.
Will our heroine be able to find true happiness and her glass slipper as did Cinderella…?
