“Shanghai Knights" is a rollicking adventure that combines Jackie Chan's incredible martial arts prowess with Owen Wilson's signature charm. Directed by David Dobkin and written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, the film takes us on a wild ride through 19th-century London, filled with action, humor, and heart.
Fann Wong's presence as Chon Lin adds a refreshing dynamic to the cast, while the showdown between Donnie Yen and Jackie Chan is a definite highlight, showcasing their martial arts skills in an electrifying manner.
Set in 1887, the story follows Chon Wang (Jackie Chan) and Roy O'Bannon (Owen Wilson) as they journey from Nevada to London in pursuit of justice. The film's narrative weaves together elements of comedy, drama, and thrilling action sequences, creating a truly entertaining cinematic experience.
