“Despicable Me 4” continues the beloved franchise's tradition of delivering animated fun and laughs for audiences of all ages. Directed by Chris Renaud, this American animated comedy film produced by Illumination and distributed by Universal Pictures serves as a worthy sequel to its predecessors, particularly “Despicable Me 3”.

The film brings back our favorite reformed supervillain and secret agent, Gru, voiced by the talented Steve Carell. However, the true highlight of “Despicable Me 4” is the adorable addition to the family, the baby. Bursting with cuteness and mischief, the baby steals the show with their irresistible charm.

As Gru navigates the challenges of relocating his family to a safe house, the baby becomes a source of endless entertainment and heartwarming moments. Their hilarious antics and innocent expressions bring laughter to both young and old alike. The animators have done a fantastic job in capturing the baby's irresistible charm, making them an instant fan favorite.

While the baby's storyline adds an extra layer of humor and endearment, the film doesn't neglect the other characters we have grown to love. Gru's family adjusting to their new lives, a teenage neighbor named Poppy Prescott attempting to follow in Gru's villainous footsteps, and a group of mischievous Minions taking on the role of superheroes all contribute to the overall fun and enjoyment of the film.

In conclusion, “Despicable Me 4” is an entertaining and heartwarming addition to the franchise, with the baby stealing the spotlight with their adorable presence. With its vibrant animation, lovable characters, and a healthy dose of humor, the film continues the legacy of the “Despicable Me” series, offering a delightful experience for fans and families alike.

I rated it 7.5/10
