“Bad Boys: Ride or Die” is the fourth installment in the Bad Boys series, and it delivers exactly what fans of the franchise have come to expect: mindless entertainment. Directed by Adil & Bilall, the film brings back the iconic duo of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. Their undeniable chemistry and bond shine through once again, reminding audiences why they have become such beloved characters.

The film doesn't aim to be a groundbreaking masterpiece, but rather a non-stop action-packed blockbuster that keeps viewers engaged from start to finish. The action sequences are well-executed, featuring exhilarating car chases and explosive set pieces. The visual effects and cinematography enhance the larger-than-life nature of the film, creating a spectacle that fans of the series will appreciate.

The supporting cast, including Joe Pantoliano, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Núñez, Jacob Scipio, John Salley, DJ Khaled, and Tasha Smith, all deliver solid performances and add to the overall enjoyment of the film. While the plot may not be particularly original, it serves as a vehicle for the charismatic leads and the adrenaline-fueled action sequences.

It's not a groundbreaking film, but it succeeds in providing quality mindless entertainment. If you're a fan of the Bad Boys series or simply looking for a fun, action-packed ride, this fourth installment will deliver exactly that.

I rated it 7.5/10
