Hong Kong has entered its darkest era.
Wallace (Simon Yam) and his protégé Sky (Philip Ng) receive a call from their gang leader, Slaughter (Lam Suet) who says the two mob bosses, Dragon (Lau Siu Ming) and Nigel (Waise Lee) have come into conflict. Dragon's young wife has been raped and murdered by Robert (Ye Xiangming), the only son of Nigel. Enraged, Dragon issues a fatwa to have Robert killed. Slaughter ordered Wallace to build a team to complete the mission. Wallace then pulls in his protégé Sky; his daughter Lily (Sabrina Qiu), a speed racer; explosive expert BBQ (Eddie Cheung); boxing champion Tyson (Jordan Chan), and the up and coming star of the mob, Superman (Oscar Leung). Heavily armed and ready for the mission, the team accidentally finds that Robert has a crush on Tyson's lover, Faye (Gui Jing Jing) and keeps pestering her. Taking this advantage, they use Faye to help track Robert down. But Robert always manages to escape a step ahead, leaving a trap for them to fall in. Wallace suspects that a mole is working for Robert inside the team. While the police start getting involved, it suggests the existence of another inside man working for the police. The team members don't trust each other anymore. Wallace gradually realizes that they have been used for a bigger conspiracy hidden behind the mission.

Synopsis
Wong Jiang and Seven-up are close buddies in the police. However, while Wong is an upright and honest cop, Seven-up has been receiving bribes from the gangster Blind Chiu. When Wong plans to arrest Blind Chiu, Seven-up goes to warn him. They make their escape from the rooftop and during the confrontation, three shots are fired. Seven-up and Blind Chiu are shot dead.
